Candle wax warmers explained
Wax warmers are an electric appliance that resembles a small candle. Once connected, the heating element inside the wax warmer slowly heats the wax that was placed on top. Once the wax melts, it begins to emit a pleasent smell just like a regular candle. All without an open flame! Just be careful of melted wax.
Removing Candle Wax From A Wax Warmer
There are several ways to clean wax from wax warmers. The best option is to let the wax completely cool before attempting to remove it. Once removed from the warmer, you can simply wipe out the wax bowl with a damp paper towel. We have a detailed guide on how to clean a wax warmer. Be careful to let it cool completely so you dont get any hot wax on your hand.
Which is better wax warmer or candle?
It is all mostly based on your personal preference! Some people prefer to use a candle for the light and warmth it produces. But wax warmers are generally safer to use as they dont have an open flame. It is also fairly easy to change scents in a wax warmer, instead of having to buy a completely new candle.
Are some wax warmers better than others?
The best answer to that is it simply depends. All of the electric wax warmers that have reviews above have different features. Some are simply more affordable, while others have better build quality. They all heat wax the same, but some may have a removable pot while others dont.
What type of wax is best for wax melts?
Most candle makers use a blend of soy and parafin for their wax melts. While others use just plain soy. Some more exotic forms of wax melts can even come in the form of beeswax!
Can you put wax directly in wax warmer?
Most electric wax warmers for candle wax generally have a dish on top that you can place the wax in. Some of these are listed in the reviews above.
