Hi! My name is Oliver Smith! I have a masters degree in business from Washington University, and candle-making has been a side hobby and passion of mine for as long as I can remember.

While they weren’t exceptionally high quality, that first batch of candles started everything for me. I founded Cxnlde in 2022 so that I could be the same guiding force in others’ candle-making journeys that my mom was for mine.

Candle-making wasn’t just a monetary pursuit for me. Candles add fragrance and personality to an otherwise dull room. Not to mention they make for an excellent gift. Most importantly, though, candle-making was my all-time favorite hobby. Even back when I made my first batch, I was always inspired to make the next set even better.
